Co-op Union recognises the Folk. Folk works with "No More War" movement. Leslie Paul's "The Green Company" printed. Basil Rawson takes Sheffield Pioneers to Germany. "The Pioneer of the Folk" launched - paper written for young members. First "mass camp" at Ross-on-Wye. Includes foregin delegations.

Red Falcons suppressed in Germany.
 
  Mosley leaves Labour Party to form the "New Party". Ramsey Macdonald forms 2ns National Government. Famine in USSR due to collectivisation. Nazi rise to power leads to crushing of socialist, communist & Trade Union movement. Chinese Communist Party "Long March".
Nazis emerge as major political force. Japanese occupy Manchuria signalling the rise of Japanese militarism. Gandhi commences civil disobedience against British treatment of "untouchables". Hitler becomes chancellor. Germany becomes one party state. First concentration camp opened. Nicaraguan Sandino killed in cold blood by General Somoza.

Labour Party announces its support for the Woodcraft Folk. ADC moves indoors. "The Training of Pioneers" by Leslie Paul printed. International Camp at Brighton sees over 2000 participants. Henery Fair first paid National Organiser. Leslie Paul's "Republic of Children" first published. Folk takes part in Co-op Wembley Pageant. Folk House purchased. Folk delegation takes part in IFM peace camp in Liege. Return home just as war breaks out.

Show trials begin in USSR.

Congress of Industrial Organisations in USA formed.

Battle of Cable Street in London leads to fascist defeat on the streets. Trotsky finds refuge in Mexico. London bus strike. USSR show trial finds Bukharin, Rykov and Jagoda guilty. Nazi-Soviet Pact leads to Western Communist Parties opposing war with Nazi Germany.
Keynes advocates state intervention on unemployment. Spanish Civil War starts. Germany reoccupies the Rhineland. Sino-Japanese war commences. The Moscow show trials start under Stalin.

Nazis carve up Czechoslovakia.
