My Experience of the project - Cassie

What was the camp like for you?
The camp was very interesting, finding out how differently they camped 70 years ago. It was harder than our usual camps because we had to do more work!

What was the food like?
The food wasn’t much different from the food we have at our normal camps. But they tasted a little different as they were cooked on an open fire not in a oven or on a stove.

What didn’t we have?
The hardest thing to leave behind was my mobile phone, but we weren’t allowed things like peanut butter as they didn’t have them in 1930s Britain.

What was the best bit?
I think the best bit was playing the 1930s games because I thought they didn’t have fun in the olden days.
